IHSC has representation from eminent Indian academicians working in various domains of health systems research such as health financing, health service delivery, governance and others. These are experts in their respective fields, published in top health systems journals globally and are on important government committees and task forces.

As future faces of the research community, young and mid-career researchers are as much a part of this consortium, benefiting from its many capacity building initiatives through which senior researchers mentor them to help them build their technical capacity. It also presents an opportunity to senior researchers to familiarise with newer methods and engage in interdisciplinary work.
