Welcome to the Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator’s living database, dedicated to Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR). Our mission is to strengthen the HPSR ecosystem in Asia, with a focus on India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the Philippines as our initial pilot countries.
This dynamic platform serves as a hub for comprehensive information on HPSR institutions, policies, organizations, programs, and individuals that shape health systems in our priority countries. Our goal is to facilitate sustainable policy engagement and better responsiveness to country-specific needs in the region.
Operated by the UGM Center for Health Policy and Management (CHPM) and ACCESS Health International, under the supervision of Result for Development (R4D), this database is designed to evolve with time, accommodating updates and changes to ensure it remains a valuable resource for all stakeholders in the field of health systems strengthening.

The HIN focus group was created to segregate the experts from different domains into four key areas based on the cross-cutting fields of Health Informatics. The domain groups – Medical, Technical, Management, and Public Health were created. With a focus on creating the model curriculum, the AHI core committee conducted a series of consultations with these focus groups and incorporated valuable suggestions and refinements. The final model curriculum for Health Informatics that emerged from this exercise was one that could be used by any kind of academic institution in its current or future offerings. Detailed discussions on the course content, scope, and sample syllabus were conducted and the group arrived at a consensus on the model structure of the core and elective topics as part of the curriculum design. The course design focused on creating well-rounded Health Informatics professionals who could understand the various facets of this fascinating subject that seamlessly combines Healthcare, Technology, and Management principles, given the disparity between them. GLC4HSR ACCESS Health International has initiated the Global Learning Collaborative for Health Systems Resilience (GLC4HSR) in partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation.
